The children are mostly dressed for the theme, except middle sister Edith who dresses as a ninja. Behind the house is a birthday party for Agnes, the youngest of the three sisters, the theme being medieval fantasy. His home is mostly the same except with a few girl toys and decorations. He smiles and ties it to the lamp by his door. He assembles and fire a weapon outside of his front door. A large man in charge looks to a young woman and simply tells her to "bring him in." Cut to Felonius Gru who appears to be the same grumpy despicable villain we knew from the first movie. (Footage of the heist is reviewed on a large screen, revealing it had been three weeks since then. A few simple shakes free the remaining men inside, one lets out a Wilhelm scream, before the ship flies away.) An red airship shaped like a magnet hovers overhead and suddenly anything made of metal begins to float towards it, including the laboratory itself. A shovel and the oil drum follow suit shortly thereafter. As one celebrates his victory the coins start to float away into the air. Two men in yellow parkas play cards over an oil drum for coins. Starting the movie proper we zoom in and pan around a "top secret research laboratory" in the Arctic Circle, the central building, a laboratory, is labeled "PX-LABS". (Two Minions appear next to the Illumination Entertainment logo, each trying to out-"ta-da" each other. Katney: Sheesh, Universal logo takes a long time Katney: Yeah, I'll go ahead and give myself a 45 second head start since YOU always seem to get ahead of me! XD With that in mind, we hope you enjoy our 6th movie date, Despicable Me 2. So the case of stronger language the censored word will be labeled as "(toast)" most of the time.ĩ) In the descriptions I will only list the actor's name in regards to the character they play if we refer to them as such (or as another famous character they've played) in our commentary. I don't mind stronger language most of the time but it might offend others. XDħ) Movies are watched from beginning to end, so if you intend to watch these movies, beware of spoilers.Ĩ) For the most part the logs will be as they were originally written, though I may edit a spelling error after it's been corrected or taking out stronger language. I may try to go through the logs and include what we were reacting to if it's needed, or if I even remember. Internet shows will be calculated by run times and/or episode counts.Ħ) Since these logs are from months or years past our reactions may have to be taken out of context, since we're typing our reactions/commentary as it happens on messenger. Only a certain number of episodes per viewing and is marked as a complete movie by the end of the disk. If the series is watched on DVD or BluRay we consider the runtime to equal a long movie and thus each disk can be considered a movie. If we've both seen it I don't count it in the "X's Never Seen" Movie Date series.Ģ) If neither of us has seen a particular movie one of us HAS to volunteer to watch it first, because we have synching issues that might give out too many spoilers to each other.ģ) Movies that one has seen before BUT it has not been seen in several years (IE, since childhood) and very little is remembered it could be considered a new movie and qualifies for the list.Ĥ) Movies that have only been seen in bits and pieces qualify for the list as long as certain plot points or twists haven't been revealed.ĥ) TV and internet shows qualify for the list. Here's the basic run down of how this works:ġ) It has to be a movie only one of us has seen before. I, however, will go with Tom because that is the most popular choice and a Minion dressed as a maid is addressed as such. XDDD I know there's debate about a Minion who dresses like a maid, named either named Phil or Tom. Also when naming the Minions in this I'm using the Despicable Me wiki, so don't hate me if I get one or five wrong. XD We will be watching that eventually, too. X3 I did end up liking it better than the first movie, but I don't have high hopes for The Minions Movie. Today we bring you "Katney's Never Seen 'Despicable Me 2'." I wasn't a big fan of the first movie, but I guess I knew I would have to have the movie running in the background whenever my niece and nephew stayed over so I agreed to watch it.
